More neat old stuff from the earily days of the WSB. JR did a GREAT restoration job! Enjoy the up-date.
If our plan is on track, your web-masters will be at the Avella Historical event( Sat. Sept. 26th. 8 a.m. till about 2 p.m.).
Hope we can meet a few more Hi-Line fans, and we'll bring some P&WV stuff to exhibit as well.

Photos of West Side Belt at West End are neat.
Not only is the PRR connection gone, but the future of the West End
Branch....the WSB...grim. The new west end circle reconstruction project has acquired the West End Branch property and has already enroached onto it. Take your photos now...or when the leaves are gone so you can preserve a piece of the past.
BTW, the new pictorial on the Connellsville District will have 2 wonderful images from the 30's down on the West End...one at Steuben Street showing the double track street car crossing with that of the railroad, another showing the bridge over the Ohio being constructed with the WSB yard and joint P&WV/P&LE Yard Office...as well as a few other treasures.
