Gene Schaeffer has published a new book, "Norfolk and Western Railway Connellesville District"

We here at the Hi-Line know that Gene puts together a quality book with great images and this is no exception. I have previewed the book and found it wonderful.

Gene's Comments

The Connellsville District was once the Pittsburgh & West Virginia that was leased to the N&W in 1964.
In 1990 the N&W...NS...tansfered the lease agreement to the W&LE who operates it today.
This new pictorial covers the era between 1979 and 1990.
There is also a handful of early 1930's images of the P&WV/WSB.
This new pictorial is 144 pages, measures 12"x9", hardcover with dustcover, black & white (duotone) with 157 pound acid free paper.
