Interesting, Nice color slide of ex-P&WV X-192 MofW- boarding car on E-bay.
The small glimpse in the slide shows (to the far left) might/may look like
P&WV Materials Car P-430?

Both cars still on active P&WV roster Oct. 1964, along with
Paint & Masonry Gang- Car #P-172. We think, out near
Harmon Ohio area?

Sold by the N&W to a local Akron/Canton scrap dealer
late 1965-66'?

In 1964, Car #192 had a P&WV car & contents value of $1,900.00.
Material Car P-430 $1,265.00.
Paint & Masonry Gang car P-172 $3000.00.

Maybe, " Camp-Car-Bill " can add or correct more info.

PWV Jer.

This appears to be Bridge Gang Kitchen Car. I do not remember the number but it was a open vestabula car like the one on the slide. The car next to it could be Bridge Gang Sleeper Car. during 1964 some of the windows were barded with plywood for privacy.

If you look in your files you could see these cars cut out on the D------Branch.(please forgive spelling)

Bill

Thanks again for the info Bill.
JR thinks we may have some of these B/W images in
the D. Elder collection. Some archive stuff we have not looked thru
in any detail.
... maybe 5 X 7 size, with some info on back? images of Wash & Tool Car # P-418,
Tool Car #P-422 and Water Car # WX-55. .... thought I remember
P-424/P-430 as well???
These storage box's are at JR's, at some point we plan
some major image scan & site- file-work .

Did you happen to cop a copy of the image? I've been too busy to keep track of the BB.
