Hello
While doing paint schemes for my own freelanced railroad lately, I decided to do up an interpretive paint scheme for what the P&WV GP-35 #101 might have looked like if it had been delivered in its home road paint scheme. I tried to get the background of the herald from white to yellow but couldn't make the image co-operate in Microsoft Paint.
Let me know what you think.

If the P&WV were still around today, I'd say that's a possible contemporary, high visibility scheme. I like it. We've had previous discussions about this and the consensus seems to be that given the P&WV's economic situation in 1964 we assumed that they'd be delivered all black with basic chrome yellow lettering but who's to say? The FMs were still getting stripes, yellow cab sides and red logo decals in '63 and '64. It's fun to wonder.... _________________ Eric Schlentner

Earlier this year I made a few theoretical "Heritage" paint schemes for WLE and here is what I came up with, on of which is P&WV. If anyone wants me to post others just let me know. I'm working on another version of the P&WV now

You can add anchor points and convert them to curves under the same tool set as the pen. If you need color fill, use the rectangle tool and then add anchor points. I think drawing is pretty clunky in Photoshop. I use Adobe Illustrator for complex vector artwork. If it's something quick & simple, I'll use Microsoft Expression Design 4. ED4 may still be available as a free download. The little known Expression Suite was meant to be a lightweight competitor to Illustrator/Dreamweaver, etc. similar to how Publisher competes with InDesign but MS ended development about three or four years ago. Shame, that. It was developing into a nice tool. _________________ Eric Schlentner
