Update, Peters Creek (Clairton Branch) bridge work.
A crew from [ Lone Pine Construction Co ]. of Bentlyville Pa.
was busy working on the Bridge base(s) and cement
approach supports. Several pieces of construction equipment
are on site, with a crew of 1/2 dozen or so Lone Pine workmen.
No additional WE branch work (CRW/Tie Plates/Spikes etc.) were observed on the branch, Rt.51 X-ing to Pierce.

WLE had a string of tank cars tied-down on the
main from m.p.-43.5 to (west) Horning Road. Power??? Reason???


AVR Bruceton Interchange, new CWR siding is about 90% complete.
No regular siding movements yet. Several rows of new Blue and bright Orange
survey flags are placed near/about the AVR interchange siding switch's and AVR main line
crossovers. Not sure what that's all about.
