Got a chance to visit some branch re-hab work
this late A.M.
Ribbon-rail is strung-out along all the curves.
New ties are in place (under old rail) to about MP-3.5
Not many of the old worn, cut ties are along the ROW.
MOW loading/removing these from the ROW work site.
Entire tie & rail gang equipment are now staged on the (Rt. 51 Clairton)
side of the branch, working towards the tunnel & yard area.
Also nice, got a chance to meet " Pitt 1292 " talk /walked part of the
branch ROW as well. Good work with your photos. Maybe post a few soon? |

Was nice meeting you today tool here is the pictures I've been wanting to post.
WE 4025, 6358 leading the railtrain through Oak Wednesday
Standing in the middle of Peters Creek (Luckily I had boots), WE 6381 leads the tie train down the Clairton Branch 4/16
WE 6381 crossing the Rt. 51 crossing 4/16
