P&WV FM H-20-44 on e-bay, paint looks a bit thick, needs some
of Jayrods correct graphics, along with a few other details. But it's
been re-powered. a big plus!

Also, a real nice brass P&WV Caboose (no Paint).
also, would need Jayrods better graphics.

Looking at the ebay image started me to examine the trucks. The model has friction bearings. P&WV's had roller bearings... mostly. The builders photo of #50 shows friction however subsequent photos of #50 show rollers. Were the bearings changed prior to delivery? And, oddly, the image of #71 in 1955 shows a friction bearing axle on the front of the rear truck http://thepwvhiline.com/SelectedPWVHistoricImages/pwv71_58_2_2_Web.html. What's up with that?

...looking over the many FM images it appears that only
#50-51 were delivered with friction bearings.
Builders photo's of 52-53-54 all show roller bearings.

At some point very early on, 50-51 received what looks-like
a factory-replacement truck assembly that included rollers
bearings.

The #71, some images do show, what appears to be friction-
bearing-journal-covers under the cab end. We have some info
on the explanation from the late Larry Kline. I'll dig around, and see if
I can locate the paper work he provided.
