Thanks Tom,
we saw this cab as well, looks like they pulled some art-work
from our past caboose page. Hard to tell at this point, if they will use the more correct graphics.
Also looks like the old tooling used on this model as well.
This car needs to have the Pullman-style steps, with the logo separately
applied. My guess , may be out by Dec.

These would make a good stand-ins for the original Bethlehem as-built cabeese. JZ is correct in that as these cars were serviced, the original steps were replaced with inset 3-step boxes similar to those on a heavy weight passenger car making boarding a heck of a lot easier and safer. In the lettering scheme offered, the steps are incorrect but as with anything plastic, can be replaced with modifications.
To be correct to prototype in this scheme, 1962 and later, the 24" diameter yellow logo decal should be mounted on a 24" diameter plate attached to the car. Prior to 1962, the white lettering and stenciled logo were painted on. The distinctive wind deflectors and signal horn are easy additions to the details to give the caboose that P&WV look.
For either lettering scheme, we have the graphics available by request that can be scaled and used to print decals. _________________ Eric Schlentner

As noted, these cabooses are based on the old MDC caboose. The proportions of this car are way off. I know, I bought a WM, sat it down next to a P2K, and took it back. Save your time and money, buy a P2K. which were available lettered for P&WV. They still show up on eBay.

Thanks. That is excellent info for the modelers that watch the BB. _________________ Eric Schlentner
