....found this P&WV gem from Oct. 25, 1938.
Up-close view, use the ZOOM size (+and -) also, read description captions.
HMmmm...ex. WSB/WPT wood cab? now lettered Pittsburgh & West Virginia being shoved by P&WV#20!

Very nice photo Jer, did you also notice the guy standing inside the shed? It looks like he's standing behind one of the railroads track cars.

If I squint just right, it looks like a 400 series from WPT. I think there were six of them. Not sure yet but most if not all were gone by 1940 or thereabout so that could be a lone survivor in 1938.

Did you notice the pigeon droppings on the freight shed roof? Betcha didn't.

..ya it could be a very old WPT hack.
Think by 1941 most retired, or down-graded to wreck/work-train/camp
assignments.

Hee hee, more useless visual-image-drivel-observation...
did yenz notice the brakeman/conductor?
climbing-up the caboose steps?

gotta-luv these Hi-res pic posts.

Yep. Doesn't appear to be a very graceful boarding. Or exit. Whichever the case may be...

Nice photo, though. You certainly don't see too many of the ol' terminal.
