I know during the P&WV Diesel era and the N&W era, Rook crews would take their rest at the Wandle house in Brewster. My question, where did the Brewster crews take their rest at Rook yard?

HMmmm...good question, really "old Heads" told stories of visiting crews,
staying in their Road Caboose's. I think there was also a facility near the
Roundhouse for yard/crew rest.
I believe the Main Hotel (bottom of the hill) in Carnegie also
housed lay-over crews.

Thank you for the Info Bill, very interesting they kept them on the property and didn't put them in a hotel. I'm guessing they had a laborer keep the rooms clean?
