I stopped at Rook and found a coke train waiting. I went down to Bridgeville and caught one coming from Mingo Jct. with mostly empties. I headed back up to Rook and completed my photo shoot. Enjoy. Click on the link below.

Nice shots, thanks for sharing. What time did that train arrive in Rook?
I stopped by later in the afternoon around 1530.
There was a cut of about 15 hoppers behind 301. Mostly UP with some C&NW, MOPAC, and BN. |

The coke train was there when I arrived at about 12 o'clock. The other train, with mostly empties, (there were some hopper cars with a load that was snow covered and I couldn't identify. Coal? I don't think it was coke.) coming from the west arrived about 2:15 PM. I waited around a bit to see if they were going to send the coke train west or put something else together, but that didn't happen. I waited until about 3:00 PM and then headed out. |

I figured it arrived not much before I did. Was that you in the green taurus?
