With the latest Hi-Line site update concerning the passenger cars, a bit of close examination reveals that the cars are lettered with the same lettering "font" as the Pennsy cars they were ordered with. The exception is the ampersand (as usual) since the Pennsy alphabet doesn't have one. The ampersand stencil would have been made up for the P&WV cars and it's quite an odd one at that.

If anyone wants some P&WV lettering done, I do have Pennsy alphabets to work from. Just let me know.

Edit - The later lettering in the fifties and later was a gothic style. I haven't researched it yet but I'm sure it would be easy to reproduce.
