Fantastic!

It's official... The cars are scheduled for release in March with our logo and slogan.

Also, stay tuned for the 1900 series covered hoppers to be announced hopefully in February from InterMountain.

----

New logo artwork for the General American covered hoppers ordered in 1945. These were the first covered hoppers for the P&WV, ten only, numbered 1900 thru 1909.

Not shown are the reporting marks which are very similar to a slightly extended variation of your typical Railroad Roman.

GA used their own style of lettering for the data stencils so that may be one of the next projects.

If anyone on the BB has a particular request for P&WV related artwork for rolling stock, post it here on the BB. With a bit of research, I can scale the artwork exactly and set up complete decal sets.

Nice! possible these closed sided, first 10, 70-covered-hoppers-1946
(notes & talk info from Tim McCready) were stensiled at
Rook Car Shops.
The second group (25) AC&F 70-ton-cars delivered in late 48'
were a close visual match, but with several slight AC&F changes.
The reporting marks & logo on these cars may have shown the more
traditional P&WV Logo & Lettering. As appear on open-top U-channel
hopper cars rebuilt.

Covered Hoppers #1925-1949, AC&F lite-grey, closed sides. Who???
designed, placed & stenciled these black reporting marks? My guess...
AC&F factory job.
