We are running a bit late on our Menu up-dates. JR was installing a major software addition to my system last week. Both now mirror each other, and we have 3 back-ups. The Hi-line, unlike most small group web-sites and some large National Railfan sites that, only up-date images once or twice a year, and are based mostly on Message Board Talk Forums has a very different format.
We enjoy sharing photos with the P&WV fans.
The Hi-Line is Graphic Image Site, we let the pictures/images tell the story, and try to up-date every two weeks or so. To operate and maintain a site such as ours takes a bit more technical knowledge and image graphics/layout skills, not to mention much more time and planning.
8,100 hits(visits) to our main page in a 6 months, and this does not include the many fans who are on a direct link to one of our menu pages. Not bad, for a site about little railroad with a small railfan interest base. Amazed, that two guys who can carry AARP cards(will never admit it) could pull this off. The best thing about our site: No Ads, No Pop-ups, lots of P&WV stuff and it's FREE, we pay for it all. Enjoy!
This week-end if all goes well we will add 3 new Hi-Lines and some other stuff...Thanks for visiting.
