The caboose(2)pics are still a "work in progress".
Cab #828 is only about 80% complete.
Still working on the coupla side (red)paint & final graphite black-roof-coat weathering.
Coupler lift-bars & air-hose end connections, and small stirrup-step below the ladders
have been ordered.
Grind down a bit, the rounded parts of the pullman steps & weather trucks & under
carriage for the 60's era look.
...the Aristo hopper is out of the box, will get the KD #820 couplers, USA wheel-sets(I just like the look of these smaller couplers)
custom made(Evergreen Plastics)hopper end-braces.
I will kit-bash the car air-line & air hose connections and add correct cut-levers.
A medium/lite overall weathered-look(matching the proto-type photos) will be applied with a modifications
to the plastic coal load.

Hi PWVJer,
The caboose and hopper looks fantastic. I wish I had room for "G" scale, would make it easier on the old tired eyes :D Are the smaller models "N" or "HO"?

Regards,
Rich S.

N scale Rich.
These are the only two pcs. we
have in the Hi-Line collection.
One(1) G-scale 1:29 wheel is
almost bigger than either car
and twice in height!

These custom detailed G-scale cars (we hope) will all be completed, and become
a part of the new/up-dated version of the traveling 2012 Hi-Line
exhibit.
Neither G-car is a "perfect proto-type match" by any stretch. But
we think they will please 98% of the P&WV faithful.
Jer.

I am an "O" gauge guy. But I enjoy seeing the P&WV in something other then "HO". My eyes too, don't see small things well.
