...recent late word that the
"Avella History Fair" will be held on
Aug. 20th. (Sat.) 2011 @ the Avella Civic Center/Library location.
We are planning to attend.
Your Hi-Line guys will set-up the P&WV exhibit & display,
adding some very rare, original, P&WV archive materials & other stuff as well.
Our plan is an * 8 A.M set-up and a "load & go" by 3 P.M.

We have no other Avella History Fair information to post at this time.

Here's our table(s) line up plan.

18' Hi-Line display ( with six(6) end-cap ) color images.
Very Large 32" X 72" detailed original blue-print/ drawing of MP 82.
Includes:
ALL the ROW, R.R. buildings & structures, Station area, Mines, and
the Acme Coal Prep-Plant. Map Date of 1917(up-dated 1948).

Eight(8) binders of assorted original P&WV operations materials.
These were prepared & placed in binder-sleves by GPS.
Some binder things ... A bunch of General Notices 1936-1960.
Form 19 train orders, Joint- Facilities -Operations Aug, 1943. Connecting R.R. information.

Complete/detailed listings copies AFE/AFR's Jan 1, 1961 to Dec. 1964.
