I thought that would get attention! Actually I have been compiling color images to send to Atlas for future models. After talking to an Atlas rep many times over the last few years it seems more and more likely to happen. The best thing we can do is make it easy for them to get the paint right. I am looking for good color 90 degree side, head and hind end shots of the 20-44s. I am also looking for AC&Y 20-44s and RS-1 shots and Patapsco and Back Rivers script scheme HH-660 shots of the same quality.
Thanks,
Wade

Hey, that is interesting news.
I have had some exchange with the folks from Bowser on two P&WV Models.
Matt Herman, Project Mgr. for Bowser Mfg. Co. in Montoursville Pa.
They ARE going to do P&WV #40. This unit will be P&WV Prototype specific, with lots of really nice detail.
The release date is still un-known at this time.
But, the late, later half of 2011 could be a good guess (Bowser 3rd. run) maybe?

Here's the Bowser Executive (AS-616) Line link:

http://www.bowser-trains.com/

Also,
the VO-1000 #30 is now also under serious consideration!
(Big Red & Yellow Strips... ????) Circa 1960.

Almost all the FM H-20-44 image information you(Atlas) may need is
in the Hi-Line Historic Image Archive Pages. We can send large hi-res image files if they request them.

The Model Page Archive has the correct Font & Yellow(Panatone Color Match).
We also have the hi-res red logo file. We can create scale color drawings if really needed.
The Athearn people had some interest in this same model project as well.
Most of these model product managers do talk with each other.
We don't have any AC&Y material.
Keep-up the good work!
