The P&WV Hi-Line

I was searching the vast P&WV Archives collection for some WM information one of our HiLine members asked about.
Did not find the WM info yet. But, I came across this unrelated and very rare and interesting report.

A Complete P&WV folder titled...

NEGATIVES of "The Hall Diesel Shop". Received from the Union Railroad by G.L. Rushneck,
original sent to F.L. Riddle who had photostats made.
Copy sent to F.G. Klassen and G.L. Rushneck to whom the originals were returned
for the purpose of sending back to the Union Railroad. 6/22/50.

This 10 page report covers the entire(New) Hall Pa. U.R.R. facilities.
Structures, Buildings, Operations and Track plans in great detail June 10, 1950.
Again this is only a very, very small fraction of information in the P&WV Archives.
I hope this Spring as the weather breaks, we can begin the GIANT Task of sorting thru the entire P&WV collection.
