I'm currently building 2 P & WV TOFC flats. These cars have a yellow circle with a black R in it, indicating roller bearing trucks. Does any one have any info on the diameter of this circle?

Thanks.

Paul

Looks like 6'' or so?...Here's the 2005' frieght car link:

http://www.thepwvhiline.com/Aug05HistoricUpdate/TVTrailFlatCarFVNet.html

Maybe, Larry Kline our rolling stock/frieght car expert can correct or confirm this.
BTW, Larry sent us a color image(color blow-out) of P&WV Trailer on a NKP flat car @ ROOK.
He also tells us that Sunshine Scale Model Co. is planning/production? of a scale correct trailer for NKP-P&WV-WM match.

JR is working hard on the restoration of this P&WV trailer/NKP flat car image.

Also for you WM folks, we came across a very rare, "Drop-belly Rag-top WM Trailer & flat car". A very good B/W image,
west-bound at Oak,MP 50. 3/25/66 with N&W cab #500839.
We will do a Historic "add-on" image(s) sometime in the future....

I have a Ray Hicks photo of P&WV flat 1061 with a WM stake body trailer. The car has the circle just above the right hand truck. Based on the size of the wheel, I estimate that the circle is approximately 7" in diameter.

I will email the photo to the web masters.
