Hello Malley,
Welcome aboard the The P&WV Hi-Line!
Getting started with High & Dry Line... I would suggest you get a copy of "THE BOOK",
Story of the High and Dry, by Worley/Poellot,Jr.
Great over-all information on the P&WV R.R.
Another great book is Gene P. Schaeffer's "Norfolk & Western Railway Connellsville District"
this pure image book will give you a look at the entire P&WV/N&W line Circa:1980's.
Today...Mother Nature tries very hard to hide the line during the warmer months.
Traffic patterns on the W&LE (WE) line is sporatic, but active...
the hard-core chase & shoot folks can give/add more detail(s).

PWVer, thankee. I'm going to put in for one or the other book for Father's Day.
Really looking forward to more exploring of the PWV. I belong to a hunting camp in Greene County, which puts us in a fairly convenient spot to investigate the line in Ohio and WV.
