Just to leak a little information, look for coke traffic from the Koppers facility in Monessen to start up very soon. Also, a second customer on the Rehobeth Spur. Increased traffic to the current customer. On a hope and prayer, at the very least continued traffic volumes of coke to Connellsville and if the good lord provides, a substantial increase. More details to follow.

Thanks for the up-date, we too expect to see some interesting
NEW and re-start operations on the High & Dry.
Our guess... watch, look, & listen at G&W, AVR/SWP movements.

Fast Freight Rolling, thanks for the updates.

I've Been doing lots of praying lately.
Funny after 40 years of hanging around this railroad, I still have a adrenlin rush when I learn of whats up ahead for the future of this railroad. Sort of like when I fist began walking the railroad in the early 1980's wanting to learn each inch of right of way and the excitement of looking ahead of my each footstep of what is around that next curve!
It also reminds me of a August evening in 1975 standing at the West End of Gladden at the crossing with Dave D., new 35mm camera in hand, enjoying the evening as the sun settles in for its nightly nap as the hazy and humidity surround the countryside, and releasing the camera shutter on that High Green for the eastbound that is rumbling downgrade at speed behind us...the rush of the glow of the headlight punching past the green signal at 40 per enroute to Rook as locomotive air horns scream through the crossing, locomotives jumping up and down almost as in as much excitement as we were as they slam over the road crossing and the west switch Gladden.

If this all pans out, maybe I'll ask to go back railroading.
This is gonna be hard not to resist.

I'm praying, believe me I'm praying for that green signal up ahead...

Hot off the press!

Coke to Connellsville will remain at current levels for now. If and when the NS fails to deliver the coke they will be moving, we will step in and fill the void.
