I heard word last week, Rehobeth Spur has been updated with new ties and ballast and is now in service.
The first 3 cars have been moved over the rebuilt spur with new business in the works.
FINALLY, this railroad is beginning to search out business.
Rehobeth Spur was a idea of prior P&WV management who purchased a large tract of land seeking customers to facilitate business via the P&WV.
NS let business on the spur dwindle as did the current management.
Now if these people could just maintain decent service...
Acquire additional customers...

Hey, that's some good news for the east-end!
The WE management has positive expectations for both Customer and Car movement growth for the Rebobeth Spur.
BTW, got a chance to look over & read the book.
Two nice shots on page's 38-39 in the N&W/NS days. Also, loved the Clairton(station) Branch pics.
The vintage P&WV images are just pure Gold!
The Hi-Line fans are really going to enjoy this Book.
... Again, Great Job Gene!
