We had a super time this past Sat. at the Avella regional historical meet.
Again, it was our pleasure to see our many ol'e friends , and greet the many new Hi-Line Fans.
Really enjoyed the day's activities, hope to see all of you again next year.

Don't know if she made it but my Aunt, Jean Young was going to be there, told her she need to bring material on her design of the PWV Service Pin to share with the group.

Bill,
I don't think we met Jean Young, most likely she may have not attended the Avella show.

However, we did meet Author Willard A. Harvey Jr. a new Hi-Line fan. He wrote four (Railroads of the Ohio Valley) books.
JR chatted with him for sometime about his image collection.
If all goes well we may get to see/use some un-published stuff in the P&WV Historical update pages.

Another new Hi-Line fan, Jim Northcraft, Vice President of Transportation W&LE R.R.(WE).
We spent almost the entire afternoon talking about the Hi-Line and P&WV/WE railroad operations.
