Journalist. (P&WV,MTR,N&W,WM & W&LE) fans will need to sit for this one!

About 36 images or so, "Longview & Mifflin Branch Odyssey" all done in our typical Hi-Line fashion and style.

We also hope to have about 40 or so pics of current AVR/SWP/WE, 3 day action at
the Bruceton Interchange. These will be placed in our Photo Gallery section.

When we were doing the photo shoot we got a chance to talk with some
AVR MOW folks. This is the information they had with the "Pike" trackwork and operations.
AVR/SWP will begin some extensive rail, tie, ballast and drainage work from Glenwood to Wash. Pa. within the next few weeks.
They would like to get the section
from Glenwood to Bruceton done first. They are also working on the Long siding from Whitehall Tunnel to the Bruceton interchange.
This siding job may not be completed in total this year due lack of ($$$) funding. They are however, going to at least add another 500' or so to the stub-end.
This to store MOW/Track equipment for the Bruceton to Wash. section work.
Wash. Pa. traffic is growing nicely.
However they seem to feel that the major moves will be interchange traffic between the B&P and the WE. What kind ?? When??
