The recently posted photographs taken at West Liberty raise a question for me....

Does anyone have an idea as to how much traffic was running over the P&WV during, say the late 40s and early 50s?

Another reason I ask is because I'm putting together a P&WV "track territory" for the Train Dispatcher computer game, where you can actually sit and control the day to day operations on some stretch of railroad.

I have all the physical data, like track charts, signalling, etc., but when it comes to building a traffic pattern (which trains run where and when), that information is harder to find.

Judging by those pictures (and others), the "High and Dry" seems to have been a bustling little property once upon a time; should be fun to try and keep everything rolling along smoothly :)

If your interested in traffic moving over the P&WV during the 1960's, I have some documents that show traffic moving on each day, loads-empties-tonnage-engine numbers-train symbols and times.
These documents were addressed to Superintendent Tim McCready!
When I have time, I'll post one here for your review.
Just like reading a train sheet, maybe better?
Many have NKP engines...

That information would be extremely helpful. Thank you very much.

That era would be a very interesting one to "simulate," I'm sure.
