Today the W&LE made the trip to Mifflin retuning mty coil cars
along with a few mty and loaded scrap gondos.
I hope the steel coils trains make a come back.Here's a few shots of the Train.

Nice shots, and not a spot of rain on the Lens! It would be nice to see some coil-cars on the line again. Have you seen any MOW work on the line from Longview to Walker? Rumor control has it some much needed tie and ballast & gauge issues to be addressed ... those 90 car coke moves can take their toll. |

Not the best weather for photos
or to be out working in. As far as the MOW
on the Miflin branch it sure needs it,especially
if those steel trains are going to roll again.
Here's a shot I took when the paint was still fresh
and coil cars filled up two tracks.
