The P&WV Hi-Line

At the connection on the 26th was a line of cars. There were the tank
cars I have read about, some hoppers with coal, and a Buffalo and
Pittsburgh box car. These were on the connnection up near the WLE end.
At the AVR end sat a single engine. There was a temporary extension
added to the stub at the AVR end to get the Track Tamper out of the
way. While there an empty coke train went by on the WLE headed to
Rook. We also met some very nice and informative rail fans. We
chatted, took a walk up and down the connection and I took some photos.

All in all a nice evening.
