Always been there! I would assume that when the P&WV Connellsville extesion was built, the B&O was there and a rather busy line, so a interchange was put in, probably about 1921.

Flordia Mike:
The original B&O came up through Curry,
near "Daniels", then up the hollow a bit further
passing under the P&WV (WSB) around Bloom Engineering.
The B&O continued up Curry Road...or should I say
Curry Road is built on the former B&O right of way.
Crossing over Brownsville Road near the Country Club,
then back down towards Streets Run Road.

Yes, I know about that origainal B&O line over the hill instead of Whitehall tunnel, but that was a long time ago, so I would be fairly sure that when the P&WV built the Connelsville line in what was it 1921, the B&O and their Whitehall tunnel-route had already been there at least 10 years. So going back to the question, the Bruceton interchange was more than likely installed about the same time as when the P&WV was built. Right gang, or <G>? MJR "out"!
