The Web-masters had a private- guided tour of the Brewster Big Shop on Sun. Mar12th. A VERY INTERESTING PLACE! We were not permitted to shoot photos inside the shop (to dark anyway) but was given the O.K. to shoot the outside and the yard area. While out and about in Ohio, we got the P&WV cab at Cadiz Oh. Interesting car, this was original WM#1840 sold to the P&WV 7/59 and re-numbered 828. Later N&W#500828. and now own by (Cravitz ?)Coal Co. On our way back got some interesting shots of the Weirton Steel Co, Yards. You can check all these Photos that JR - shot @ the Hi-Line Photo Gallery Board. Next Week if all goes well (and time permits) we will do the Heavy Mike Historical Images and Some of CF's Model shots. JR\JZ.
P.S. While in the Big Shop saw lots of work being done on the 5-car-welded rail car set. It looks like sometime Late Spring/Summer for Ribbon Rail. |
