This morning with the weather in the low teens the W&LE headed East out of Rook with loaded coal Hoppers for the AVR at Bruceton,cold weather means more coal.The Train also consisted of empty B&LE Coke Hoppers that were being returned to Mifflin.Here's todays moves in photo's.

Looks a bit like a Powder River coal train, with the western looking power and hoppers....nice post & nice catch! |

I would also like to thank you for the photos. I enjoy seeing what is going on locally. I do have a question after looking at them however. The B&LE hoppers looked to be in pretty good shape. A little while back, there were some great photos of new W&LE hoppers, so does anyone know when was the last time that the B&LE received new hoppers? Just curious.
