Checked out the site of the derail today. Work is being done to open the branch. I thought a lot more ties would be replaced, but some must be serviceable, as they are leaving a number of them in place. They will be there most of the week getting things back into shape. Enjoy the images.

I thought they would put more ties in too. Well if they re-place a few more ties at the joints along the entire line, and run the tamper, they may get away with less de-railment issues.
Maybe some restrictions on say...no more 5-unit wide-cab six's..90 loads etc...just some Hi-Line observer's thoughts.
