Because of the recent wave of porn, gambling and other un-authorized web sites and click throughs signing in for membership I have been forced to close user access membership. From this point on if you want to become a member to the HiLine Bulletin Board you will need to email me (admin) and after checking the legitimacy of the request I will issue membership. I didn't want to do this but every day for the last few weeks I have been removing unwanted messages and members from the site. This week has been particularly bad in terms of the number removed from the site. I have yet to have stop guest messaging, but if this becomes more of a problem I will change the site to member only posts and replies. You will then have to sign in to post and reply.

6/24/2009 When registering for this site please send an email to webmaster@thepwvhiline.com stating you have registered.

Thanks for your understanding.

Yes, that should be no problem to all. If someone has an interest then it is no big deal for them to apply by e-mail and tell a little about themselves. You have done a great job in keeping it off the message board, because I check it at least once a day, and have nevr seen anything that is offensive Somewhere along the line the ISP,s will have to somehow prosecute some of these "mass crap e-mailers" with their on line medications, porn, Rolex watches, and penny stock tips! Otherwise what I see occuring is a eventual "freeze-up" of the system with sort of a spam overload! Of course I also wonder, it all would not be sent out if that one dumb person in a thosand responds, or actually tries to buy the stuff they pretend to be selling! OK, off the soap box now!

In my short time on this forum, I have truly enjoyed the photos, information and the anwsers I have received to my questions. Whatever needs to be done to keep this forum like it is, and has been, would meet with my cooperation. I appreciate the time and effort you must spend in this endeavor.

Thanks,
Tom
