Here are some shots the WLE and AVR hopper exchange. 65 Rapid Discharge hoppers are headed north on the AVR to the B&P in Bakerstown, PA. All the shots were taken at Bruceton. We enjoyed meeting the many other railfans who showed up to photograph and watch the move.

Wow, probably the biggest crowd around Bruceton since the last steamer or fantrip went through! You guys almost needed to form a photo line! Thanks for the quick coverage in this digital world!

The news of the W & LE delivering the 5 bay hoppers that were being stored at Rook brought a lot of rail fans out to Bruceton.

The AVR also at Bruceton to pick up the hoppers, made for a lot of action.

After leaving Bruceton the W&LE made a trip up the Mifflin branch to drop off that one scrap gondo and to pick up several mtys.

Great shots, PWV101 and M.JCT and thanks for sharing!

Can someone help with the routing of these hoppers? I'm much more familiar with the B&P in the Riker/DuBois/Falls Creek area. These cars go WE (originating where?) to AVR-Bruceton to B&P-Bakerstown then B&P to where?

I passed a lot of rail fans on my way into work this morning. Most were on the Overpass on Lebanon Church Rd.

I wish I could have been there in person to meet some of you, but I don't think "Taking pictures of a train" is an acceptable excuse for calling off.
