The Hi-Line staff caught the grainer outbound out of Rook and
the chase ensued. He rolled quickly by the Parkway overpass
headed for hill at Saw Mill Run at company speed. He was stepping
right along Rts. 51 and 88. Once past Shannon he began to slow.
He was working hard at the gas company crossing. As he crested Longview
on the downside he began to pick up speed and was
rolling by Willis Rd. crossing. We caught him just in time at Bruceton
and took these images. We ended the chase here.
Enjoy the images.

Hi all,
8) 8) 8) Really cool shots guys. 8) 8) 8)
I wanted to get out to the Banning Bridge and catch it this afternoon, but I was at the VA in Pittsburgh most of the day and didn't get back in time to get to Banning to see it. I'll keep watching the board though for a "heads up" for the next one.

JR/JZ,
Is "Shannon" a block limit or is that just your shorthand for Castle Shannon?
Is the "gas company crossing" where the P&WV splits from Route 88 between the Valley Drive bridge and the Baptist Road bridge?
So Longview is the top of the grade...what is the extent of the grade (%) for eastbounds?
Where is Willis Road? I assume it is somewhere between Horning and Bruceton?
