The P&WV Hi-Line

We are late, unable to to an up-date this week to many Family things going on. JR with College Kids home and a day job.... Me, six(6) grand-children and young moms & dads, wife & day job.... all needing more of PWVJer's time. We will try a mid-week thing.

Last year, on April 16th.@7:20 P.M. with a simple tap of JR's Index finger on the "enter key" we placed the HI-LINE on the web. Since then we have had well over 15,000 visits to our site. This number continues to grow and does not count the fans who have their browser set to open @ one of our many menu pages. Our URL numbers are growing and it 's interesting to see the amount of time each of the visitors spend looking at these pics. Must be enjoying the subject material.

We have re-newed and paid for our domain name and paid our host server's fee for yet another year. JR has continued to up-grade our systems with some of the best hardware & software on the market today. You will see better image's made from very old. worn , torn and faded prints & slides.

We have a few changes (with-in a month or so) in mind for our basic format. One of which will require fans to "sign-in" to access any of the menu pages. We have lots of P&WV images and information to share, we hope a few more will join in and do the same. We can help or do your layout, format and posting, if needed.
It takes lots of our time, work and planning to operate and maintain this type of image-site. If we miss somthing or you have a suggestion on content, if it's in our collection we will try and post-it. The images posted on our site are JPEG's for the most part set @ 100DPI with a saturation of 125%. This means, they look very good on your screen but will not be good for much else.
