Hello everyone, I am scratchbulding the Bridgeville freight station. I used the photo's in the photo's section as a guide. I have the wall cut and i am ready to start to assemble it. Question is does anyone know the colors were? I am guessing white and a dark color for trim. Since it is a b&w photo I am guessing.
Thanks for any help. BTW I cut it on my Cricut machine. First time cutting wood. Worked pretty good.

Tom,
I'm not 100% sure as well, However, I think? (looking at original images) go with
a weathered dull-white with battleship grey trim you would be in the
ball park. Roof ?? Maybe, a darker-weathered-red shingle angle-design
(Longview/Monessen) ??? unable to to tell if B-ville had a black rolled asphalt cover.
Mid/late 60's era. ???

BTW,
My 52' bulk Container-gon # 7227, and 50' DD DF-Boxcar # 1504
Are complete, less graphics & lite-weathering.
Jayrod is finishing up the fine-graphics for the custom decals.

Next up, 52' Coil-Cover-gon #7278. A detailed bash/scratch project
inside loads/blocking , Hood covers etc. Another Bashed Tangent model.

Jer.

I was going to go with the red diamond shape shingle . I have a piece of it from Monnesen after it burnt down. I did measure the foundation but lost it in the last 20 years. One of the hobby mfg made a red diamond so I think I have enough. I think the gray is close just by looking at the differences in the photo.
Thanks for the info.
