Hello, my name is Jim Braum, and I wanted to introduce myself on the board. I actually model the decedent of the PWV (Wheeling and Lake Erie railway), in HO scale. My most recent project is a scale model of the PWV Bruceton station, as it appeared in 2015, with some liberties (uncovered windows). I also have photographed a lot of the modern east end and trains (48 of the Wheelings 90 units). I'm glad to be on the board, and look forward to learning more about the "High and Dry". I'm also including one of my pictures, my take on the first tank train on the Clairton branch. I've got about a dozen photos of the unloading of the Peters Creek bridge pieces, if anyone would be interested in those.

Well, Welcome aboard Jim.
Favorites, Bruceton, Peters Creek, Hopedale, Mingo Jct. and Monessen.
I would guess between PWVJer & GPS we were lucky enough to
visit many times Bruceton & Peters Creek (Clairton Branch) quite a bit.
JR tells us he has scanned/saved a bunch of new & past WLE
construction work changes & rail-traffic development ....

Enjoy the site.
JZ/JR.

Thank you. The modern Wheeling is my favorite one to railfan. Plus I do enjoy looking at the construction the PWV undertook to build the hi line.

Jim, welcome aboard. I checked out your Clairton branch images since I haven't seen any photos after it's completion. Nice shots. Hopefully, we can be of some service to you and visa-versa.

I've also been invited to do a talk on the PWV line from Rook to Connelsville next month. I'll be using my Wheeling photos for it.
