Up-date work as of 10A.M. 9/24/2016.
Mainline very heavy new ballast dumped/spread, Pierce-
west to just beyond Stilley Road. Not sure if any was spread
East of Pierce M.P 39.8 or West of Stilley Rd. M.P.42.2.
Again, very deep & heavy new ballast amounts on the hard curves
within this section of the R.R.
No new ballast work observed at Bruceton M.P. 42.7.
However, several pieces of MOW(tamper/spreader/groomer)
are resting on the siding.

Clairton Branch, as of this visit, No wet gas tank car movements
have been observed or reported. No additional CWR has been
delivered or installed. The previous additional spread-lite-ballast has been tamped/groomed
on sections of the branch that required additional attention.
Several pieces of MOW/ROW equipment rest on Large Pa. stub-siding.
The WLE blue crane & gon are resting in the Clairton yard proper.
No NS connection switch/ROW work started or completed was observed.
No firm date(s) on all this ROW work completion. The Mainline project East, Rook-Pierce,
and the Clairton Branch still remain a WLE high priority. |
