Clairton Branch, the " Tie Gang" has completed about 90% of their branch work.
Today the crew was finishing-up at the end of the Clairton yard tracks.
Steel ties are now in place on the hard-curve near State Street X-ing at
the NS River connection.
Some CWR installed on the branch curves. The Rail/Surface gang(s)
have more work.

WLE Bruceton Bridge area work. Today, a private contractor was working
on clearing/cleaning the clogged 5' culvert located in the area under the ROW bridge approach, and
near-by Station foundation on the WLE main line.

CWR gang(s) to work the W&LE Main Line Westland to Rook starting next week.
Crews to be housed in the Hotels near Bridgeville Pa.

AVR/Carload Express, North switch(near Whitehall Tunnel/Curry Road bridge)
in place and "cut-in" on the new siding ROW. CWR and tie gangs now have
all ties, rail, spikes, clamps in place, and ROW surface work complete & ready for install.
Maybe, more AVR interchange fracking traffic go'n WLE-East to SWP Everson connection?

When I drove the branch last Sunday after fishing I notice on the curves where the CWR was in place that they need to redo most of the rail plates, other than that the tracks look much better now than before, also what is wrong with the bridge exactly?

The Ravensburg tunnel & small stream bridge(s) at the mouth of the
Clairton Yard are now fine. Fans can get a nice safe view of those stamp-formed-steel-ties
from the parking lot at the State-street X-ing.

Ok, from what I heard from a few sources is that they can run any work trains. So I would assume work will start soon? But I will do some asking around to find out.
