WSB began Bruceton Freight/Passenger service about 1911 in
two(2) old rail boxcar bodies.

Passenger boarding numbers & profits were a bust!
However, Full Freight Car/LCL business held it's own till Oct. 17th. 1949.
After this date the P&WV closed station operations. Then combined to house
the Car Inspector, Standard Coal Shed & Tool House.
A bit later MOW crews & some equipment.
This later arrangement lasted well into the N&W era.

The Structure:
Located on 0.02 Acres of ROW.
18' X 48' total size.
Waiting Room/office, 18' 2'' X 17' 2" with wood counter/ bench seats.
Freight Room, 20' X 17' 4".
Ceilings 11' 6".
Brick Chim. with two(2) 9" X 13" flues.

#1 Certificate Bangor Slate* Roof. Exterior Wood Siding,
primed with white-lead and linseed oil. The finish was semi-gloss-white with
charcoal-grey trim (Frame, Doors, Windows).
Sad, all that remains today is the foundation(s) block & poured concrete sections, and that interesting (Brick Floor Base) that was under the freight house section that now sees daylight!
