The Virginia Museum of Transportation had #611 "J" Class locomotive refurbished and will be running excursions during June and July, if your going to be in Virginia this summer look them up. I hope to have photo's next week for the run from Manassas to Front Royal and back.

photo's didn't turn out, better take a course at the local community college. tried to down load a couple that did, plus a video, but must be too large. It was exciting experience the two days I was there. Two of my Granddaughters rode on the VRE commuter train with me on Saturday and my oldest rode with me on the 611 to Front Royal and back on Sunday. Can see why my Grandfather liked Steam better then Diesel.
