....just a few interesting tid-bits,
*Paint & Stencil work:
*Painted Grey & Lite-Grey Primer. Business Cars
# 100 and #200, painted June 2-3, 1951 Rook Car Shop.
Pullman Green Two coats. One(1) coat Rustolium-red primer.
*Last P&WV Car: Painted & Stenciled by Rook Car Shop men,
P&WV Gon # 7555 blt.11/48 wood floor, 2-coats gloss-black
Painted & Stenciled for P&WV Jan. 8, 1964.
*P&WV Caboose: Last Cab Painted & Lettered for P&WV.
one-coat Gloss-Red #836 May 31.1964.
JR plans to scan this entire original Car Paint/Stencil & Resgistry Book. |

The first group of P&WV Box Cars re-painted:
1 coat primer, 2 coats semi-gloss black, with the new(er)
Logo & SOS slogan stenciled.
Car # 1226
" 1284
" 1221
" 1263
Rook Car Shop.
Aug. 18, 1952.
