On Facebook, type in "Classic Connellsville" where there are a few photos of the Davidson Mine etc, in Connellsville.
Davidson Mine was reached by a short spur off the P&WV near the west end of the 1st Crossing of the Youghiogheny River Bridge in Cnnellsville.

Was that the mine above the B&O tracks north of town? Looking at Penn Pilot images, it looks like it was served by the PRR before P&WV got there.

The mine spur connected to the P&WV main down near the big river bridge.
