Heard one go by Shannon so I headed out to Rook to see if anything was there. A nice! surprise. Coke loads and 6, count em, 6 power units.
I took quite a few shots so I placed them in a gallery.

I arrived at Rook about 3:15 PM and was there until 4:45 PM. I did not see any grain train at that time, just the coke cars. When I arrived the 103 was on one end of the coke train and the 300 was on the other end. The 3016 was sitting on a siding alone. About 4:00 PM the 2 GMs with the 302 leading came into the yard without any cars. If they were hauling grain maybe they left it somewhere, as the yard was fairly full. So, I can't say if there was a grain train or there was not. |

The 302, 6314, and 6347 must have been returning from the 416 they hauled to Hagerstown Saturday. |
