Hi-Line Fans,
Start making plans & "mark" your Calendar.
Here's a very large, local NMRA event you may not want to miss.

Link:
http://www.highlinetopittsburgh.org/

Your P&WV Hi-Line has been invited,
and will be one of the featured attractions at this show.

An exclusive 26' X 26' room for the
P&WV Hi-Line Historical Archives/Image & Scale model exhibit.

Nice Original
Company diagrams, Blue-prints & Drawings.
from the Official P&WV Archives Collection:
(some samples)

***** Rook Fairbanks-Morse Coaling Tower
Bridgeville Station
Hopedale/Longview Water Tanks
P&WV Rook Car Shop w/ assorted Car Drawings
The Big Shop
Company Graphics & Logo*****

... many new " Large-format-Images "
P&WV/Rook-Yard, Fairbanks-Morse Power,
Rare Steam-era shots etc.

A selection of proto-type scale
models H.O. O and some G-scale (Alphabet Route/P&WV) as well.

JR/JZ/Jayrod/Charlie (and maybe GPS) will be on hand to
meet & greet...

Looks like the Hi-Line staff will begin setting-up the
P&WV exhibit thur-eve. This room will be filled with
P&WV archive materials & assorted very detailed custom scale
models.
Including Larry K.'s O-Scale "Longview Station"

Also featured, will be selected Original Archives (Drawings-Diagrams-Blue-prints etc.)
Rook Yard Structures, Rolling-stock, Bridges, 50+ Large P&WV "Train-Dispatchers"
daily movement sheets from the early 1960's.
...and much, much more!

The new 8' image display will focus on the P&WV's Fairbanks Morse
H-20-44's. These may be the very best "large format prints" (616 negs) that we have ever presented!

The 16' display will also have a few new subjects added.

Ol'e JR/JZ/Charlie/Jayrod/GPS will be ready to meet & greet
8 A.M. fri-sat. till eve???

Do you have to be a member of the NMRA to get into the P&WV exhibit? I'd just like to stop by and say hello to the members of the P&WV crew. Is the P&WV exhibit in the DoubleTree hotel in Greetree?

Rich,
yes, I think you are required to pay a fee(but not be a NMRA member) to get-in and access
all the many NMRA activites. However, if you are just "stopping-by-to say
hello" to the Hi-Line Staff(JR/JZ/Charlie/Jayrod, one could, I guess,
(off the record) sneak-into the "Lincoln-Room" then go and have a coffee.
( Hilton-Double-Tree-Greentree's Rook-Yard )

BTW, this great local group of NMRA folks are excellent Hi-Line hosts, they do operate a
top-notch informative & interesting show/convention.
For those
who are really into scale model R.R. hobby activities, this event "IS THE PLACE"
and well worth the fee & time to attend.
