Over on the WE board "Mifflin Jct" posted a few pics on the small bridge re-build project.
We hear only rumors of new rail traffic for this branch line.
As we can confirm these stories of future rail movements/branch work, we will post the news.
BTW, as of this time a WE MOW crew and PennDot are putting the finshing touchs to the bridge and ROW approaches.
New S-H rail, ties and heavy ballast, for about a 100 yards or so.
Drove down the Peters Creek Valley toward Clairton & the route 51 grade crosssing(very-lush & green with tree and vegitation growth)
stopped at several branch ROW locations,
did not observe/notice any other branch work or activity.
