Well, these photos are part of a huge archive of original vintage photos taken
by Erie Railroad executive and noted train enthusisast and photographer Cameron Blaikie.
We have several more in the D. Elder collection.(two were posted D. Elder part I past up-date).

JR did another great job with these very small original images.
Also, thanks to Larry Kline on the "heads-up" auction, for us to bid/purchase these very rare pics.

Only on your P&WV Hi-Line can you see complete image story lines like this!
Enjoy!
JR/JZ.

Did anyone else notice that #20 has no marker-lights or flags.
Cab 607 has no flag or rear markers as well.
????
Nov. 37' time period, could the #20 (Rook Yard Switcher west-end) include
the trip(s) down to West-Liberty Yard and Belt.Jct. as a part of a Rook Yard move?

I looked in Howard Worley's book of employee timetables. ETT 24, eff. 2-3-35 was in use when the photos were taken. It says that yard limits covered the West Liberty and Pittsburgh Branches as well as between a board 2480 ft east of W. Liberty and 600 feet west of the west switch Leasdale. So the photos were taken within yard limits.

In ETTs 25 and 26 the west limit changed to 3390 feet west of the OHommel Co siding. These two ETTs cover 1-2-38 to 12-31-55.
