im new to the site but have been a fan for quite a few years! I just wanted to say its great to find such research and archived info on the beloved p&wv. Ive grown up around the the p&oc (old pc&y) infact my house is right along the tracks and not to mention so is the plant i work at too. i just wanted to clairfy that the former Coopers Transformer plant is still in operation and still shipping transformers via rail. I seen in the archive photos that it was noted that the plant is gone! On the P&WV note..
its exciting to see new life being born at rook. The upgrades are something great to see |

Nice to here from you 220-C.
Glad you like images & info in the Hi-Line pages.
The transformer plant.... I think at the time we posted that up-date/story
that facility was not in operation. Although the physical structure(s) were
still in place, the new owner-operators were in limbo.
Continue to enjoy the Hi-Line ride!
