The P&WV Hi-Line

$521,200 for 20 bridge pedestals and crossties for Allegheny & Washington County main line.
Don't know which Bridges will get the work.
Also $385,000 to re-construct and extend a rail spur siding owned by the W&LE for for Gordon 1 Inc.
Not sure, I think this is the location:
Industrial complex just west of the High Bridge @ Belle Vernon.
Still, I guess some good new for the High-Line.

PWVJer..Although there is a spur just west of the BV bridge, you may be referring to the Rehobeth Spur, just east of the Monessen Junction. I saw an article in yesterdays's local paper (The Valley Independent) about a grant fot a spur in Rostraver Township:

I stand corrected, I believe you are right!
I don't very often get out to the Rehoboth Industrial District near Belle Vernon Pa.
Keep us informed and let us know if you see any activity.
I'm some-what optimistic about the W&LE/SWP/AVR trafffic possibilities at this location.

I was driving along Route 88 and saw some of the work being done to the trestle that crosses over Route 88, the one just north of the Mingo Creek Viaduct.

Lots of bridge support work on the small overpass on Pa. Rt. 481.
Looks like a rail fan/collector got the N&W half-moon harald (at one time it was a red P&WV logo)
from the bridge deck. Lots of work on the Rehobeth Spur,
switch, grade crossing with new cross-bucks and lights.
Some tie work as well.
